Peculiarities of situational metonymy of dialect adjectives

The lexical and semantic typology of a Russian dialect word has not been sufficiently developed yet, though there is considerable scientific interest in it. This article presents the results of observations of the types of metonymic modulation of folk adjectives which are given in the Dictionary of Russian Dialects (SRNG).
