Gaidamashko R.V. Data for Etymology of Meteorological Lexics in Russian Dialects of the Kama Region: tola, and chalnya NRD, Volume 15. 2016 , 34–43
Abstract

The article continues the publication of materials for the etymology of meteorological lexics in the Russian dialects of the Kama region, cf. “Northern Russian dialects”, issue 14 (2015). There are fragments of areal, comparative and etymological analysis of the lexemes tola ‘snowbank’, ‘snow drift’, and chalnya ‘thunderbolt’. The opinion of A. K. Matveyev about Komi origin of the word tola is supported, and the etymology for the word chalnya is suggested for the first time.
